Speculation abounds as to who the imposter was, with the smart money betting on reprobate and mal vivant Adolphus P. Rasmussen. (See characteristic photo at left, below.)

On numerous occasions in his infrequent stretches outside the work farm the mentally unbalanced and bumlike Rasmussen has played on his resemblance to Jim.

The outcomes of these masquerades have ranged from hilarious to vile.

If you are approached by the "False Jim" again, demand ID, and for god's sake, don't let him near your wallet or your wife!
