People sometimes ask me, what is it with you and the frogs? Well, I say, I like 'em. As Little Lulu once said, nothing's prettier than a frog. Yeah, but why do you subject them to so much dreadful treatment in your drawings? Oh, I don't know... I guess I think it's more interesting than showing them riding bicycles or carrying parasols. But I really do love frogs, and would never hurt one in real life.
